Pediatric Dentistry is a clinical specialization of the Dental science with the exclusive object of dealing with children and people with special needs. Children are not just a miniature of adults, their constantly growing and evolving nature makes them a separate social group that needs special treatment.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Basic Principles of Pediatric Dentistry<\/span><\/span><\/h3><\/header>

The therapeutic needs of children are not particularly different from those of adults,
\nfillings, extractions, denervations belong to the treatments carried out by
\nPediatric dentist along with some more specialized ones such as the stainless ones
\ncrowns of new teeth and permanent teeth, the pulpotomy, the space saving machines.<\/p>\n

The main goal of the Pediatric Dentist is to familiarize the child with dentistry
\nprevention and treatment, to gain his trust and cultivate it
\nhis behavior in such a way as to shape an excellent future patient,
\nworkable not only with the dentist but with any doctor.<\/p>\n

The Pediatric Dentist uses psychological and management techniques
\nbehavior in order to approach the child and relieve him of anxiety. Furthermore
\nusing special vocabulary, depending on his age and intellectual level
\nof the little patient, explains the procedures that will follow in a way that is comprehensible so
\nto prepare it and make it a participant in the whole process.<\/p>\n<\/div>

There are a number of preventive treatments that our clinic can provide for children. For example, applying fluoride is a safe and effective way to protect teeth from tooth decay. Considerable amounts of fluoride can be obtained through the use of fluoride preparations (eg administration of fluoride tablets, troches).<\/p>\n<\/div>

At the same time, preventive sealing of holes and fissures (sealants) is another technique we apply to protect teeth from caries. It is the coating of the chewing surface of the back teeth with a thin layer of material that essentially insulates the surface of the tooth from the effect of plaque microbes and the acids they produce.<\/p>\n<\/div>
